why seated · Nicolaus is where the second name enters for Theophrastus's Metaphysics (draft §3.4), and a work of his own, the De plantis, travelled under Aristotle's name until Meyer restored it. The 1541 Basel volume prints the Metaphysics among Theophrastus's works, apart from Aristotle's, with the scholion still after it.

seated for · Legitimately Many: how the many-author reading of the Socratic–Peripatetic corpus embrittled · draft §3.4–§3.5 and §3.13 (Nicolaus's ascription and its ground), added to the seating at the operator's word of 2026-11-02 ('yes, lets grab them, but fold into 32 and version') (design, draft)
